Maintenance Controller

? A Maintenance Controller is a person experienced enough to make maintenance related
decisions concerning aircraft that are operating away from the maintenance base.
? Requirements/Qualifications
- Hold a current airman certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Possess a working knowledge of company and aircraft maintenance manuals.
- Have completed Indoctrination training.
- Have at least three years documented experience performing maintenance on large aircraft.
- Have completed a familiarization training course on the type of aircraft operated by the company.
- Have previous aircraft maintenance supervisor experience.
? Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinates and directs mechanics to resolve any maintenance discrepancies and ensure that the aircraft are in an airworthy and safe condition.
- On a daily basis, the Maintenance Controller shall provide Flight Following with the status of aircraft in service, including MEL/CDL items for flight planning purposes and flight crew information.
- Coordinates with the Stores Department to ensure that any parts requirements are fulfilled.
- Issues and controls tracking numbers and monitors correction of MEL/CDL/CO items.
- Coordinates maintenance requirements in conjunction with special flight permit procedures as outlined in the GMM.
- Maintains a detailed Shift Log and other paperwork as required by management.
- Assists Maintenance Planning for the scheduling and compliance of daily maintenance and/or inspection requirements.
- Reviews Aircraft Daily Log Sheets in order to become familiar with service history.
Quality Assurance Inspectors

? Inspectors are responsible to Chief Inspector for the accomplishment of their assigned functions.
? Requirements/Qualifications
- Hold a current mechanic certificate with A&P ratings, each of which is currently effective. A minimum of 3 years is preferred, working on types of aircraft the company operates.
- Be familiar with auditing procedures, SMS policies and all other sources of auditing material and have completed company auditor training.
- Possess a working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 5, 65, 121, the General Maintenance Manual and the SIEM.
- Have completed company Indoctrination training.
? Duties/Responsibilities
- Performs audits, writes discrepancies of those faults found which require corrective action.
- Advises the Chief Inspector of any major problems found while performing audits.
- Records audits and inspection functions complied with on applicable forms.
- Responsible for monitoring all required CASS audits and other documents used in carrying out auditing duties. Ensures the proper completion of all required audits assigned to him/her in a timely manner by the Chief Inspector.
- Reviews all audit findings with the Chief Inspector or the DOM as applicable.
- Performs other duties as directed by Chief Inspector
Flight Mechanic

? 2.10 Flight Mechanic
A Flight Mechanic is a Sky King mechanic who has been assigned to travel with the
aircraft to perform the scheduled inspections required and non-scheduled maintenance.
? Requirements/Qualifications
- Hold a current airman certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Possess a working knowledge of Sky King Manual and aircraft maintenance
manuals.
- Have completed Sky King Indoctrination training.
- Have at least three years experience performing maintenance on large aircraft.
- Have completed a familiarization training course on the type of aircraft operated by
Sky King.
- Should have airworthiness release authority.
- Should have completed Fuel Training.
- Shall receive Sky King RII Authorization.
- Should complete annual De-icing Training.
- Should receive training from the Operations Department for the following: Basic
Indoctrination, Emergency Training, Dangerous Goods, and Cockpit Resource
Management.
? Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinates with Maintenance Controller to resolve any maintenance discrepancies
and ensure that the aircraft are in an airworthy and safe condition.
- Performs maintenance and inspections on the aircraft away from the maintenance
base as required. A flight mechanic may also be assigned maintenance duties to
perform if the aircraft is at the maintenance base.
- Coordinates, through the Maintenance Controller, with the stores department to
determine date and location that parts or supplies will arrive.
- Coordinates with the Maintenance Controller to place deferred items on the
MEL/CDL.
- Coordinates with the Maintenance Controller for approval to place items on the
maintenance carryover list.
- May screen carry-on baggage for compliance with the Sky King program.
- May conduct fuel vendor training and de-icing/anti-icing training in accordance with
the Sky King program.
- May perform audits for the Quality Control Department when requested.
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
10.Reviews daily the assigned maintenance worksheet and coordinate with
Maintenance Control to complete the assigned tasks.
- Coordinates with the Stores Department and Maintenance Control to ensure all
removed components are routed back to the Main Maintenance Base or wherever
the Stores Department determines.
Manager of CASS

? The Manager of CASS is accountable to the Chief Inspector
Control for assuring compliance with Company and FAA records keeping requirements. In the absence of the Manager of CASS, the Director of Chief Inspector shall appoint a
qualified individual to fulfill the responsibilities of the Manager of CASS.
? Requirements/Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations and RAI Manuals.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge and ability to utilize multiple software applications.
- Ability to create and utilize formulas for reliability and performance.
- Have at least three years of experience in CASS, Aircraft Records or equivalent
? Duties/Responsibilities
- The Manager of CASS is accountable to the Chief Inspector for assuring
compliance with Company and FAA records keeping requirements. The Manager of CASS is responsible for, but not limited to, performance of the following duties and functions:
- Possesses knowledge of the records and records keeping section of the Company’s
General Maintenance inspection provisions of each section.
- Possesses knowledge of auditing principles and CASS program
- Assure accurate and up-to-date information regarding the collection of correct flight times from log sheets, and recording times so that time-controlled items are accomplished by their required time
limitation.
- Ensures files reflect the current status of Aircraft, Engines, and Components of
the fleet.
- Processes equipment part tags and files vendor and equipment part tags and
component overhaul reports.
- Provides information and works in conjunction with the Safety Department to integrate audits and ensure data is disseminated properly.
- Ensures compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, ATA standards, and
Company policy.
- Performs duties as defined in the CASS Program.
- Reviews maintenance work packages and log sheets for completeness, accuracy, and legibility; and processing this data into the record system.
- Auditing all paperwork for completion and accuracy. Auditing and recording all
flight times of aircraft.
- Preparing reports required by this manual and Federal Aviation Administration in a
timely manner.
- Prepares and distributes the Monthly CASS Reports accordingly.
- Provides oversight of the CASS Action Plans and ensures completion in a timely manner.
- Accomplishes maintenance records review and determines phase-in requirements for
acquired aircraft.
- Analyzes the output of the records department to preplan all required inspections,
overhauls, AD compliance and other maintenance functions. This also includes
monitoring compliance to ensure no over flies.
- Assists with the Review and implementation of AD’s into the Maintenance Tracking
System and audits files for accuracy and completeness.
- Performs duties as defined in the CASS Program.
- Serves as a member of the CASS Review Board (CRB).
- Compiles statistical data for the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance (CASS) program.
- Performs any other such duties as may be assigned by the Chief Inspector.
- Participates as a voting member of the CASS Review Board.
? NOTE: The Manager of CASS may delegate duties assigned to any
qualified assistant. However, such delegation does not relieve the Manager of
CASS from their overall duties and responsibility

Must have a FAA Airframe and Power Plant License and three years of work related experience. Repair and maintain components used for aircraft airframe and powerplant. The ability to inspect aircraft engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, accessories – brakes, valves, pumps, and air-conditioning systems.
Ability to obtain airport security clearance with no Criminal Record
Maintain records related to the maintenance performed on the aircraft.
Mechanics conduct inspections following a schedule based on the number of hours the aircraft has flown, calendar days since the last inspection, cycles of operation, or a combination of these factors.
Repair or replace worn or defective parts.
The ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings and blue prints.
Willingness to work Overtime
Boeing Aircraft experience a plus
