Captain hiring window is currently – Closed
Domicile:  Honolulu.  Must live or relocate to Hawaii.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen or have resident alien status (green card)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Commercial Pilot – airplane multi-engine land
  • Current FAA First Class medical certificate (waivers only accepted on a case by case basis)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, 5-year background check, 10-year criminal history check and security threat assessment.

Note:  Shorts SD3-60 aircraft operate under Part 135 (no maximum age limitation).

Captain Minimums (hired straight in as a Captain)

  • 2000 total time
  • 1000 multi-engine land
  • 500 turbine

Note:  Transair Shorts SD3-60 Captains may transition to Transair B737 First Officers.
